Hellooooo allllll (isnt vodka just too yummy?)

Category: Blogging

Hoorah, Its Saturday and I am hiding from the neighbours over the road. They are having a party tonight and to be quite honest I just cannot be arsed to go. Nowt wrong with them or the fact that its an excuse to get drunk out of the house for once but I dont have the mental energy to be polite and sociable in any way shape or form tonight. I am in need of resting and being alone and listening to music. Ok so maybe I have been on the web but thats still alone after all....

So this weeks been pretty hum drum. Work has been quite nuts still but nothing to write home about for sure. Mumsie came home Tuesday so the talking jibberish has started again but als means Dad will actually eat more than jam on bloody toast and chinese food....

We had some bloody stonking thunder storms the other night. Sheet lightning and lots of noise... so mad dawg and I sat out in it (as you do) watching the light show. - very lucky to have a dog who doesnt give a shit if theres a storm or fireworks, probably cant be arsed to worry about what the noise is.

Ok so more voddy coming up and random comments for friends on my list.... well why not.

Ok a little bit extra as I need to moan about myspace - ok so I did remove "Tom" to start off with but re-added his sorry arse if nothing else to find out what the fuck is going on when the whole thing goes tits. Was there any point? Was there fuck. Its been a complete shit tonight and fuck all seems to be playing the game as per usual and Toms comments are as useful as half a wank. So I am now off to watch TV as trying to get this fucker to work is really a waste of my vodka fuelled time and effort.....

today the fortune cookie says:

Other than that i'm missing the mad mutt as I have left her at granddads for the weekend to make sure he eats.... (no, not EAT the dog lol) Having her there means he will cook for himself. Dont ask me why but it works?!?!?

Tomorrow is the street BBQ.... will let y'all know if theres a street fight ha ha

Current mood: tired
Category: Life

I should be asleep by now after today but even though have worked ones proverbial arse off am still here fannying about on the computer (daft cow that I am)

So work went well again, was pottering about again setting up staff on their PC's training how to use the new folders etc (all boring stuff but still getting lots of thanks which I am still finding very odd indeed.....)

Went and had a chat with our welfare officer today to update her on whats going on with my knees (she was the one who sent me to the works physio in the first place and then paid for my wedges in my shoes due to not being able to even walk properly at 32 *sigh*

Then.... came home to the huge task of filling the bloody great skip I had delivered today (thanks Robert :) with hedge trimmings and all the other crap out of the garden clearing it enough for me to be able to put up the greenhouse and even have room for a veggie patch! wrinkly that I am :)

So aching like a bugger now and going to soak in the bath as I think for once I actually deserve a rest!

Well thanks to technical errors and being a complete lazy tart this is my third attempt this week at a blog.

So far I have forgotten to mention the next tattoo is booked in for the 4th August. Another tribal thingy roughly the same size as the one on my left wrist, but - on the right!

Worked a 12 hour day yesterday, not that today hasnt been as hectic, however not quite as long but at least I am feeling appreciated by the team and getting lots of thanks for once! Which is very refreshing.

Also due to the wonderful hot weather of which every fucker is whinging about now "It's too hot" typical fucking english... I have actually been wearing skirts and today surpassed myself and wore a dress... blimey! Wonders will never cease!

Right finish checking emails then plonk my arse in front of the TV for a while!

Appointment went well! Seems the doc thinks it might be cartliage after all and has put me in for an MRI scan on both - hoorah! At least that way they will be able to see exactly whats causing it as x-rays just didnt cut the mustard.

Other than that its a scorchio day out there and I am very tempted to just go sit out in the sun!

well why not>?

Ok so today was - alriiiiiight i suppose. But going back to work after a week off has never been a strong point with me. Good news is I have tomorrow off for a hospital appointment so will have my knees prodded, wiggled and generally pulled aout by a chap up the N&N - oh joy! I am having a little mini bet as to if I will get a middle aged balding man who will find it highly amusing that I will be standing in front of him with no trousers on, or should I just look like a girly for once and wear a skirt? Choices choices. Or will I actually be blessed for once and get a stunning young chap who appreciates my somewhat weird sense of humour who knows exactly what it is thats causing my knees to hurt as much as they do on occasion! (well apart from the fact that it took 32 years to figure I cant even walk correctly without the aid of wedges in my shoes... ) yet another thing I do wrong it seems.

Iliotibial Band Friction Syndrome

Good news - call out finished at 8:30 this morning, bad news, there was a call at 8:00 - bugger. Just sat down on Harry's with my cuppa ready to just chill for 1/2 an hour before I finally dragged my reluctant arse into the office and then that. Buggered up my vibe for the day completly. Oh well.

On the plus points though, Andy had his tattoo today (well done!) and I am considering another one on the right wrist to even myself up as I am feeling very un-symetrical at the moment. Any suggestions welcome - bearing in mind it has to be a black patterned thing as I dont do colour tats. This is whats on the left wrist to give you some guidance....

Ok so I'll shut up again now talking shite, not hard to tell there's vodka's running the system now is it? lol

AUSTRALIA GETS DRUNK, WAKES UP IN NORTH ATLANTIC

AUSTRALIA GETS DRUNK, WAKES UP IN NORTH ATLANTIC
Tired of Being Isolated and Ignored, Continent Isn't Bloody Moving

Sydney, 800 miles S. of Nova Scotia (SatireWire.com) After what witnesses described as an all night blinder during which it kept droning on about how it was always being bloody ignored by the whole bloody world and would bloody well stand to do something about it, Australia this morning woke up to find itself in the middle of the North Atlantic.

current location of australia

"Good Lord, that was a booze up," said a bleary-eyed Australian Prime Minister, John Howard, speaking from his residence at Kirribilli House, approximately 600 nautical miles east of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.

According to Australians and residents of several countries destroyed or lewdly insulted during the continent's nearly 7,000-mile saltwater stagger, the binge began just after noon yesterday at a pub in Brisbane, where several patrons were discussing Australia Day and the nation's general lack of respect from abroad.

"It started off same as always; coupla fossils saying how our Banjo Patterson was a better poet than Walt Whitman, how Con the Fruiterer is funnier than Seinfeld, only they're Aussies so no one knows about 'em," recalled witness Kevin Porter. "Then this bloke Martin pipes up and says Australia's main problem is that it's stuck in Australia, and everybody says 'Too right!'"

"Well, it made sense at the time," Porter added.

By 2 a.m., powered by national pride and alcohol, the 3-million-square-mile land mass was barging eastward through the Coral Sea and crossing into the central Pacific, leaving a trail of beer cans and Chinese take-away in its wake.

When dawn broke over the Northern Hemisphere, the continent suddenly found itself, not only upside down, but smack in the middle of the Atlantic, and according to most of its 19 million inhabitants, that's the way it's going to stay.

"We sent troops to Afghanistan. You never hear about it. We have huge government scandals. You never hear about it. It's all 'America did this,' and 'Europe says that,'" exclaimed Perth resident Paul Watson. "Well, we're right in the thick of things now, so let's just see if you can you ignore us."

Officials on both sides of the Atlantic conceded that would be difficult. "They broke Florida," said U.S. State Department spokesman Richard Boucher. "And most of Latin America is missing."

Meanwhile, victims of what's already been dubbed the "Australian Crawl" are still shaking off the event.

"Australia bumped into us at about midnight local time," said Hawaii governor Ben Cayetano. "They were very friendly they always seem friendly but they refused to go around unless we answered their questions. But the questions were impossible. 'Who is Ian Thorpe? Do you have any Tim Tams? What day is Australia Day?'"

"Fortunately, somebody here had an Unimportant World Dates calendar and we aced the last one," Cayetano added.

Panama, however, was not so lucky.

"Australia came through here screaming curses at us to let them through," said Ernesto Carnal, who guards the locks at the entrance to the Panama Canal. "We said they would not fit, so they demanded to speak with a manager. When I go to find Mr. Caballos, they sneak the whole continent through."

When Caballos shouted to the fleeing country that it had not paid, Australia "accidentally" backed up and took out every nation in the region, as well as the northern third of Venezuela. They then made up a cheery song about it.

By late morning today, however, not everyone in Australia was quite so blithe. "We've still got part of Jamaica stuck to Queensland," said Australian army commander Lt. Gen. Peter Cosgrove. "I think we might have declared war on it. I don't bloody remember. Maybe it's time to go home."

Cosgrove, however, is not in the majority, and at press time, U.S., African, and European leaders were still desperately trying to negotiate for Australia's withdrawal. But the independent-minded Aussies were not making it easy. In a two-hour meeting at midday, Australian representatives listed their demands: immediate inclusion in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, a permanent CNN presence in all 6 Australian states, a worldwide ban on hiring Paul Hogan, a primetime U.S. television contract for Australian Rules Football, and a 4,500-mile-long bridge between Sydney and Los Angeles.

U.S. negotiators immediately walked out, calling the Australian Rules Football request "absurd."

Week off Day 3.....

Current mood: amused
Category: Blogging

Bloody hell this weeks going quick (well it would be seeing as I'm not at work...)

Day two (of which I didnt blog about as it was out all day shopping with Mumsie) Good day had by all... well me anyway. Treated myself to some new clothes (including a DRESS - shock horror!) and various other little oddments of which will keep me a happy bunny for a bit.

Granted it would have been nice to have not been on call this week but to be honest I would have started drinking much earlier in the day which probably isnt the best idea and have stayed sober throughout - such a good girl....

Todays efforts are shining through too. I have managed to erect (love that word) the futon in the spare room, moved it all round again to accomodate said futon and have progressed to at least a stage that I can vacuum everywhere again tomorrow.

So now I shall shut up being the sad domesticated old cow and go back to being boring on call sober :(

Feeling like complete crap. Head is pounding, guts a churning and have already slept through most of the morning and woken up again feeling worse still. bugger. I am tempted to get outside and do something to try to work it off but the chances of that happening are rare. Maybe I should just pack me and mad dawg up into the car and drive to the coast for a walk....

(oh, and just in case you are wondering why I called this post later on its because I blogged first thing this morning and the fucker has vanished)

where the hell have I been?

Current mood: content

Been a while, I know but its been hectic and had a stint of feeling shite so computer was the last thing on my mind to be playing with.

Back on track again and today is Day 1 of my week off (yay!) So far been a good girl and cut the grass and washed/polished the Errm "new" car. Ok so its not really "new" but new to me. A nice renault scenic DIESEL (yes I finally had to give up on the escort but it was drinking like a petrol fish as they do) But the renault (now named "Reg") is lovely, loads of room inside (which is now spotless I might add) and all the little comfort factor things the escort just didnt have... Radio that works, elec windows, central locking, Air con (and Db & Ihave really appreciated that over the past week!) Now anyone who truly knows me knows I do not do cleaning cars (inside or out) and nomally end up with the equivilent of a large pouch of tobacco in the drivers side footwell.... hopefully I wont let this one get quite as bad as that but cleaning it right through at the start.

I hadnt even realised how quick the time had gone (shocked to come in and realise its gone 4pm already) So off to make some well earned tea then have a shower....
