Returned we have....

I will quite happily admit that in my life time I haven't been to many weddings... In fact if I am honest, I cant remember one! But that could be due to past memory suppression or just was as pissed as a fart either way nothing jogs the grey matter this end.

So The wedding attended Thursday can only be described as.... errr, well not that exciting really.
It was at Gretna Green which you expect to be all 'spur of the moment' and such shit, but this was organised about 8 weeks ago. The location was really nice granted, the ceremony was also really sweet but I can certainly say not the way I would want to be going with any such shite I can tell you.

Personally, I would actually prefer less! No people there I knew, in fact probably not even in this location at all. But either way just an even more simple thing. Hell what do I know? I can't see me ever getting married! ha ha ha!

So the wedding..... here's a pic with me actually in it:

Not very clear I know but tough!
All I will say is, Good luck to both Paul & Kelly. May your life together be the best you could ever imagine and you are happy ever after.

As for me, I am quite drunk - yes, on a school night - and off to bed!

It been all go in this neck of the woods...

Yes friends of mine with access to my Facebook status will be aware of a slight 'annoyance' over the past few days but hell it's all the joy of working again and as much stress as it seems to give me - it also karma's right back at me as well making me feel much better in the long run.

The job in question was setting out some piling information at a site in Great Yarmouth. Now there's a place to avoid at all costs normally but when being paid... got to be done.
Long story short, Monday we turned up - were given no initial information, finally managed to get four corner of the new building coordinates out of the architect by phone, then went home after twiddling thumbs for most of the day. Monday night I was emailed a grid PDF (note, not a drawing) with dimensions for me to Re-draw it all then produce approx 100 coordinate points for the next days set out. Hours later she has coordinates and can go to bed.
Tuesday, we set out the building grid points... then as that's all the information we have pack up and sod off. Site man goes nuts, calls his boss, then my boss who says the same thing as I did... "we can only mark out coordinates if we are given a drawing to take them from in the first place, we cant just bring them out of thin air!"
So last night I am sitting there waiting until just gone half eight and the dimension PDF comes through... ok i figure, another 87 or so points. I sit there and coordinate them again when at 22:40 ANOTHER one comes through with the entire site in grid points... roughtly another 207 or so... Lets just say I wasnt really very chuffed. BUT I was good, I sat there and coordinated them all, we went today and slapped as much as physically possible on the floor for the boys to be able to sort themselves out.

They are 'sort of' happy, I am very happy and I get to go home with an extra chunk of cash in my pocket for th extra hours worked.

So now I have the rest of this week, which will be spent in Scotland! Gretna Green to be specific. No, don't panic. Yes it is for a wedding but not mine :P Can't see that ever happening!

Nope, two of our friends are getting hitched, so Nibs and I are toddling off up there tomorrow then back home again Friday. I cant wait to be honest. I was initially not that keen but due to a change of events I will get to drive up and back with nibs now which I much prefer than being in a car with people who will want to smoke.
(Yes, I am still fag free but dont want to tempt fate!)

So in a couple of days when I return I shall hopefully be able to post piccys for you all to laugh at ;)

Today, I will be mostly hurting.

I never really seem to learn. This is very evident when you look back on my previous in, well anything to be honest.

However once again I have been running round like a bleedin' banshee in the garden today, finishing the construction of the two new raised veggie patches, emptying three of the 4 black compost bins into them, moving said bins into a much more useful location then a wry smile cam across my face and I decided to REALLY piss off the cunt of a neighbour to reported my front fence to the planning department at the council.

Remembering how it ended last time, with me reducing the height of the 'specific' bits at the front as ordered by planning, still leaving the six foot panels to the side of the cunt in question's house. Well since then the whole side next to his has gradually started to lean into my garden. Hmmm odd that.
I came to the conclusion that the shite has been gradually giving it a little push each time he goes past... wanker.

Today's efforts where certainly 10 out of 10 for effort I can tell you.
Bearing in my the cunt in question had already managed to annoy me at approximately 8am by coming down to the bottom of the garden to just 'snout' at what I was doing with the compost bins, not that it has fuck all to do with him of course...coming out with some daft thing about what I was doing, when it bloody obvious what I was doing. Twat.

So after that, and knowing he and the wife (she's really nice bless her) had gone out for the
day figured it would be perfect day for re-fixing the fence again, whapping the posts down a tadge more to really secure them, slapped some wedges in there as well to make sure they wont loosen. But the best bit? just for annoyance factor to him?
I put the panels up even higher than they were before.

heh heh ya cunt blow that out of your arse matey.

Ta-da!

Sorry - no real reason for a "tada" but it has been of of those days... :)

Did actually go to "the office" for an hour this morning, if anything just to bash heads together of me and the boss of what's going to be happening this week.

Then, seeing as we have has some stunningly nice weather today I decided to produce the next two raised beds in the veggie patch of which will hopefully be ready for when the first batch of stuff being started in the greenhouse already.

Then this afternoon I had the privilege of another doctors appointment of which was having two moles removed - nothing ugly moles wise, just ones that catch or irritate and I wanted gawn.

Now I have had moles removed before some years ago but was delicately reminded of the slight downsides to such a procedure!
It's a local anaesthetic jobby which is an injection - hurts number 1...
Then comes the not painful but weird sensation when he was tugging at the bloody things!
Then they use a soldering iron type thing to burn off anything left and help it to heal I guess. The smell of burning flesh is never a nice one.
But the bit that I had forgotten, which knocked me for six when I returned home and the local started to wear off... was the stinging and the itching!!! ahhhhh!

It's been a few hours now and with the aid of Pernod and Dr Pepper I am certainly feeling much better but the scars this thing is gonna leave are going to fit in well with all the others!!

Not to worry...:)

And we're off.........

Yep today has certainly been a much better affair after yesterdays efforts of trauma and such shit.

Managed to get ones arse round to Mumsie Banks's as promised to take her and Cynthia shopping. Did the usual and bought myself some tat too I probably didn't really need but hey ho not a problem I can see!

Then this evening we have both decided to sit on arses and enjoy the lardying factor and watch some tv. Perfect if you ask me.

On the plus side, we have a little cat asleep here between us who is recovering perfectly bless her and certainly a much happier little bugger with a healthier mouth.

Poor little bleeder....

Evidently Tig is now back home... I am around £300 lighter and my birthday plans for the evening are somewhat scuppered as I for one am not leaving this poor little bugger alone for any time when she still as off her tits as she is.

Full damage? she has four teeth LEFT not four out, the infection or rot had gone down into her jaw bone and she might not even recover from it in the long run and you've guessed it... ex wife is not to blame in the slightest, its the vet she took them to see two months ago who should have spotted it then. Yeah sure.

personally I would have said SHE should have noticed in the 3 months BEFORE that the stuff stared to flare up in but hey I'm no vet, what do I know? Let the poor little fucker have a rotten mouth for 6 months eh?

So my birthday meal has turned into birthday Chinese now which is fine as long as Tigs has someone here to keep an eye on her.

Ahhh for fucks sake. What's the point of caring sometimes? Ahhh yes, thats why - I am the walking bank machine.

And the joy turns to utter rage,

I have just returned from the vet... cat-less. The poor little bugger has got such rotten teeth and bad gums they needed to take her in immediately to have the dental treatment done this afternoon.

My anger here is not due to the cat obviously, it's because that the damage in that poor little sods mouth was ghastly, and I only managed to get a look whilst the vet opened up her mouth. How on earth she has managed to eat anything over the past 3 or 4 months is beyond me.

She has at least 4 teeth that are so rotten they and the surrounding infected gums are three times the size they should be, The rest of the teeth have already fallen out according to the vet and due to this and swelling she can hardly wash herself as well so basically stinks.

The annoying part? The person responsible for this is 'Nib's' ex bloody wife who did "apparently" love the cats.

All I am going to say to that is BOLLOCKS and here we are once again with 'nib's' being dumped with another bill which she should have dealt with.
And he says she is an intelligent woman. Intelligent enough to know when he is being a soft touch by the sound of it. Can I complain to him about this? Nope, because its none of my fucking business.

Makes me fucking sick. It's right there on the neglect list in my book.

35? nahhhhhhhhh, not in the head :P

Yep, it's birthday time again. I wasn't really intending on having anything to do with birthdays any more after last years effort; but have been rather surprised so far, at how good the day is going to be all in all and it's still really early!

So far I have received many cards - Thanks to everyone for those: 'nib's' in particular made me laugh really hard in that way you think you are unable to intake air again...

But that fact that I have been surprised with not only a pressie of champers from my Chain man Bob but also the boss man has even been kind enough to get me a bottle of cava bless them.

Then today, I also have the privilege of not having to work (probably due to the fact when boss man did realise it was going to be my birthday and Bob gave him the "evil eye" when he suggested a job) However on feeling a tadge guilty I did get up when 'nib's' went to work at 03:30 and actually produce yesterdays survey and email it off to the boss anyway.

Then we have the latest additions to "Arse Towers"
(which is currently in negotiation into a name change of "Clements Castle" )

Tuesday afternoon we gained two 9 year old tabby cats names Tigger & Nipper. Namely because 'Nib's ex wife has been pretty much neglecting them of late and neither me or 't' other half were having a bar of that, so he arranged to collect them and they can live here.

I was initially a bit concerned as to how the daft black lab would react to her new house mates but bless her cottons she has been a complete star, just keeping out of the way when she gets the odd hiss at her. Tail still wags though and I think she likes the fact there are cats here again :)

So the rest of today are about to be arranged: I need to take one of said moggies to the vets to get her teeth checked out seeing a the poor little bugger hasn't been able to eat properly for some time.
Then I have decided I am going to have a cleaning frenzy... yes, on my birthday!

Watch this space....

Seems I do actually have something whing worthy of blogging after all....

Hang in there, I shall blog aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall about it this afternoon :P

Wednesday, 4 March 2009

Oh alright then....

I admit it...
When settled, happy, hell even positively content I do tend to go quiet. Very bad Heidi, I know but given the choice I think I would prefer the latter!

I will 'attempt' to keep this reasonably up to date but you know what it's like, other things take priority and you forget.

So what's new? I am currently winding the second packet of sour chewy sweets into myself... I am in bed on the laptop after one of the longest days of work I have had so far - and this was me working from home on the bloody computer! Not that it was a bad thing. I did the actual survey Thursday & Friday of last week. Had no intention of doing any of it whilst boss was away and he returned from long weekend off today expecting it done by lunchtime...

errrrr - wrong answer lol.

I did manage to get it to him by half four after 3 phone calls irritating me for it which in all honesty just made it even later! All done, he's happy and now every time I close my eyes I see this:
That will make for an interesting nights sleep!

Other than that, all is going well with 'his nibs' in fact, quite swimmingly what with his own bright green bloody cocktails!

And just in case that wasn't weird enough... in April, we will both be going down to Plymouth so I can meet his Mum... Eak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will obviously be updating that bugger as I shit myself!

So that's a minor update... will be adding more a tadge more often!

Well... with a bit of luck!
