Deck the halls with balls and foobahs fa la la la la - la la la la

Oh look at the time! Well, and the date! How quickly has the year gone?

And all I can say is, what a grand year it has turned out to be, with things that were if I am honest I never expected, a job I am very happy in, things finally starting to come round and work, which is terrific. I've never smiled so much. I am a happy bunny.

Awwwwww enough to make you want to vomit! bwahahahaha

So today we (both myself and the little legged one) went to my works christmas meal and it was fantastic. All the food was scrum, in particular the dark chocolate pud with pistachio ice cream, clotted cream and Amarillo something or other which was truly scrumptious.

I for some strange reason decided not to drink and drove us there, not that it didn't deter from the fun, it was grand and the best bit? because t'other half isn't feeling very well we have snuggled up into bed and have every intention to not get out again until tomorrow! Good call!

So this is probably the last time I get a chance to say Merry Christmas until after the event so may you all have great fun, stay safe and warm where ever you may be and know that if your day goes tits, I've got Mumsie Banks here for the day and you just know that will just end in tears.

Take care all

One of those moments....

I'm having one of those "Oh you bastard" moments.

Not only have the charming military, who yes have cheered me up immensely by not wanting to send said lad into battle not bothered getting his pay right yet. So after what, three - four months now we are currently 3 grand out of pocket waiting for back pay, thanks for that but they are still sending the poor sod out into the field for 2 weeks tomorrow to do training he doesn't really need. So what is the point in that?

I'm thinking that the fact I've been feeling quite manky of late when I should bee rather relieved and relaxed thanks to the news. But alas no. In fact have felt very shite this weekend when we should have been enjoying each others company for the two days.

So with that in mind I am going to say that the moment he gets out of this sodding yearly contract the better.

Bloody military.

I'm guessing wishing does work then, which is a bit bleeding scary!

Oh now that's a worry.

I got the best news I could ever imagine today and as hard as I can trying to be supportive of short and loud, the fact he has been told that he will now NOT be going to Afgh... has, it must be said left me whizzing around the room like a banshee of relief this evening.

I cannot say just how pleased I am that the one person I have found and want to spend the rest of my life with wont be going somewhere with the chance of being shot, maimed, or killed is certainly a rather large fucking weight off I can tell you!

I am very proud of the boy yes but please don't do that again!

Love ya LL

"Change is good" Pffftttttt - My Arse!

Feel free to do the whole "Who are ya again?" seeing as I have been spectacularly useless at blogging. It wouldn't be quite so bad but I have had hardly any work over the last month so should have been muttering like a good'un, but alas no.

It is probably because of the same old reason, which has been 'I have had NOTHING to moan about!' Oh give over! How rubbish is that? (see, I can still always moan when I really want to!)

OK. so instead I am just going to have to update as to how this are going and probably make you all sick to the stomach at how properly girlie and vomit inducing my fantastic life has finally turned out. (You know what? even the prospect of hearing it myself turns my own stomach)

We've had a 6 week chunk of fat black labrador not being very well... Started out the daft bugger managed to scare me silly by pulling her sodding back! How the hell does a dog do that? Either way, trip to the vets, painkillers later and a whole lot of rest - of which she was then off down to big sisters for two weeks which was handy and she recovered from the back.
I went back to pick both her and Mumsie Banks up, got her home and sod me did she not get the worlds worst stomach upset of which had the poor little bugger with the squirts for two days. That and her hearing seemed to have nearly vanished whilst away as well.
Another trip to the Vets, a round trip of anti-biotics to sort out the guts and fingers crossed the ears as well and told they couldn't do her booster jabs until all that cleared up too.
So Friday we finally got her back to health enough to have her annual check up and boosters! Hoorah! Weirdest thing is yes she's still pretty much as deaf as a post even after drops but if that's the only thing which is still wrong with her then I'll go with that thanks. That daftness of her still hasn't subsided, the tail still wags enough to clear the coffee table in the lounge and as an added bonus, when she gets on the bed in the middle of the night and can't see nipper the cat already up there... doesn't hear her hissing and just settles down for a kip next to me bless her. So funny.

So what else? Had some bad news. My boss (the little Irish leprechaun) has still been having it rough of late. Considering he took me on to allow him to have his hip replacement done this year has really been an unlucky sod in some aspects. He was diagnosed just after the hip was done with prostate cancer, dragged in for an op, re-called in weeks later for another op. Has since then been told he will need to have chemotherapy as they still haven't managed to get rid of it all. I really do feel sorry for his wife Shirley as it must be frightening for them both and he isn't the worlds best patient. He has had some good things to this year though, one of his two remaining sons was recently married and the other son & wife had what was their first grand child which I think has really helped for sure.
Funny but things like this really do bring stuff home.

Stuff that I have not wanted to deal with of late: knowing January is looming and the only person I have ever really loved is going to scare the living biscuit out of me sodding off to shoot people. Hearing things about his training which does scare me even more, him sorting out his will (not nice AT ALL) But knowing the daft fucker might go and do another tour straight after this one.
It's killing me inside.

I don't half fucking pick em.

Monday, 14 September 2009

Okay then... time to put in a bit of effort me thinks.

I am very proud and bloody amazed that I finally managed to give up smoking in January this year. That is also the first time I have actually said "given up" and not just stopped.
That was more of a mind over matter thing with me nothing else.

And how do I know I will not start again? I know this because I have managed to have evening's with friends of which I can smoke a joint, get stoned and have no inkling as to having a ciggy again. For that reason, I am very pleased indeed.

However, now I am in another realm of which, if I don't make a start on getting it sorted now, I will be utterly buggered and the other half will be rather chuffed and I can't be having that!
This realm would be:

I am turning into quite a bit of a bunter.

OK so I am not into the standards of Typical American family these days, (no offence Tali & Jeanie) of the style where they cannot get in or out of a standard doorway without wanting to sue McbloodyDonalds for "making" them that way.... Hmmmm

Nope - not quite that bad... just enough for me to not feel comfortable and want to start to sort out said matter.

The first thing I have done? Cancelled my membership to the local gym. (Now have you really ever known me to do anything normal? Not a bloody chance)No other reason for that apart from being skint due to bugger all work coming in at the moment and wanting to pay Mum off first.

The other reason being - I have purchased myself to go with my Wii fit training thingy.... the active EA sports version. And if I am honest, that has motivated me more in the 5 days of it I have already done than anything else. It's bloody hard work mind and I'm only on the easy setting! It'd set me up on this "30 day challenge" and like i've mentioned, going all good so far.

The only other thing I need to start taking note of is what I am eating, to try to cut out a load of the sugar and even out my mealtimes. Should be a breeze ha ha!

so here we go< an on-line record as to how I am getting on with it!
starting weight : 71.5 KGS. (shocking!)
target weight : 60 kgs
(but obviously might struggle due to fat into muscle weight but will see) The other good thing is it keeps my distracted from little legs being away training and properly in January.
Ohhhh good'o!

That's it - Any kind of group with the name "cycle" at the end is now gone from my life.

In a previous life I was a blue meanie.

I have had it up to here today with the most anal, petty, idiotic pompous wankers that are more commonly known as moderators on any groups to do with freecycle, cheapcycle or anything else of this little dictatorship.

It wasn't a difficult task, just sell my double mattress on the cheap version for £30

It has turned into today an email fight with a right jumped up little Hitler.

Lets call her Kate, as that is in fact her name! None of the name hiding shit here. If was feeling REALLY mean Kate I would post your email address as well but you are quite safe for now.

I initially sent in the advert for said mattress first thing. Then later on when I had the chance took a photo to add to the advert. Being a sodding yahoo group you need to repost anything to let anyone know you have updated it. Bearing in mind the rules that you cannot re-post the same or similar in 7 days back pings an email response of:

Unfortunately we are unable to accept your post to cheapcyclenorfolk on this occasion. Please don't submit an item/Similar for sale more than once in any 07 day period. Kind regards and thanks for your understanding Allen C cheapcyclenorfolk Moderator Team

Realising that this would be the case decided to send back a snotty email of:

Sorry Alan, was just trying to update the fact there was a photo in the files for it now... not to re advertise it.
I guess you guys stick to the same stupid anal freecycle rules without using a bit of common sense as well...
Daft

Now forgive me if I am wrong here but it did say Allen on the first one.... hence I responded to Alan... yes I spelt it wrong. So imagine my utter delight when this little gem appeared:
I take great exception to your wording in your response. You may be completely honourable and only put an item on once in a day but there are others that don't. We do not have the time to read every single message individually - our time is given voluntarily so that people like yourself can advertise their sales and wanted ads.
I await your apology
Kate

Now I would go into great detail now as to how much I think of this now woman... but in fact all I am going to do is send you my latest reply back to her instead.

Well hello Kate,

Thank you for your email,

I grant you there could well be many people out there in the group who cannot read said rules and try their hardest to get their items ‘bumped’ up the list – of which no, I am not one. I just happen to not been able to take a photograph until after I had placed the initial add and wanted any potential buyers to be aware of the update. Nothing cheeky, or rule breaking committed just an update in information.

As for my reply to you. yes, I agree it might have been worded in such a way you didn’t like but oddly I still stand happily by what I emailed. The rules set up and kept to are far too black and white and for that reason I have responded to you in the way I have. What is the point of moderating the messages if you don’t bloody read them? If you had actually read the bloody email you would have realised that. Good job you are not being paid for it as you clearly are not doing the job properly. Rubbish in fact! Maybe you should go and work for the local authority – they thrive on such people.

In all honesty there is more chance of my arse healing up that you getting an apology you pompous jumped up little twat. (I’m guessing you will find that last be somewhat offensive as well)

Freecycle, cheapcycle – great theory, shame about the staff. Far too much like dictatorship to me.

That’s me done and dusted with it all before you can get the chance to ban me.

Sad, but life’s like that.

I don’t expect a reply (because I have added your email address to my block list)

Now there's an interesting symptom for the doctor...

Not only did I manage to get an emergency appointment today (after a bank holiday to boot) but I went in with the most embarrassing symptoms you could ever imagine today and you've guessed it.. got a bloke doctor.

So imagine my utter delight when explaining to said 50 year old chap in tweed that currently whenever I have an orgasm, my head goes into spasm, eyes feel like they are being sucked into my head, head pulses like its about to explode and evidently leaves me with this same pain for a good few hours. Now don't get me wrong, I know you are supposed to get 'explosions' and such like but triggering a sodding migraine? That's just not on at all.

Being quite concerned that maybe my blood pressure may be through the roof or something even more sinister lurking in the depths made the appointment today.

So I have had my blood pressure checked, perfect apparently. He's looked into my eyes with the lighty thing... nothing amiss there either. Also had me scrunching my face, gritting my teeth, hunching my shoulders all I am sure just for his own laughs. The prognosis however according to him is...
Fuck all wrong with you my dear.

Now I haven't had a migraine for fucking years and to be honest would be really pleased if I never ever have one again as they really are fucking awful. So the thing I have got to figure out is what is different of late that could be triggering them off again?

I'm thinking the most likely culprit is going to be diet so shall start making notes of exactly what I am eating and drinking to see if there is a pattern forming there.

I would like to point out that the fact that there obviously is some sort of an issue I need to sort as it''s hitting me exactly where it hurts.... in the sack! Bastard!

Now comes the painful bit....

Deployment started on July 27th. Has it actually really 'started' yet? Nope, obviously not as due to me being a very lucky sod, have had short and loud pretty much home for the duration apart from maybe one week.

Unfortunately now however due to his squadron he has now joined he will be there as of tomorrow good and proper. In fact he's just gone now, so as to be on base first thing for being n the range in the morning. Don't quite know why but this was first time after him leaving I feel like I've had my heart ripped out, and it's bloody awful. I can tell you.

My head hurts (from something unrelated this morning) and I just miss him terribly. I know it will all be fine, chances are he'll be back home next weekend but I really do feel empty tonight.

Not fair but that's just the way life goes sometimes I guess.

How much fun was that!

I have returned today for a night out with the Widgester, Jax, John Widgy's brother and his mate Jason (odd bugger but amusing all the same)

We dragged out daft butts down to Earl's court for the Great British Beer festival and by christ it was a giggle.

Granted didn't get shit faced (which isn't a bad thing) but even so did suffer ever so slightly today... but thanks to Widge's amazing fry up this morning I did recover enough to actually drive home!

So there you have it, still a bit hungover it must be said, tired, in need of a nap but might just have to go for hair of the dog in a bit !

heh heh....

It hit home a bit today....

I have been very lucky this first week of S&L starting deployment training. After expecting to see nowt of him until, maybe this weekend if I am lucky, I have had two nights where he has been able to pop home, granted only for an hour if that but I get to see him all the same.

For this I feel blessed. Especially after he phoned this afternoon. He was obviously filling in more of the forms and such like for next of kin and stuff and rang asking for his Mum's address to obviously go on record too.

The next question is the one that sank in and chilled me to the bone.
Did I want the welfare officer there to ring me with updates when there was no chance he could actually contact me himself. I have said yes but it's that whole " I won't be able to even talk to him very soon" and that is currently scaring me to death and I think will just about break my heart.

I've been through so much in the last year and a bit, supporting him through his split with the wife, changing of jobs, homes and generally trying to get his life together again after such a trauma. Also, stepping out of the picture when it seemed he should have had time as single person... of which being an idiot he was sucked in by a sob story...

I soon changed that back to how it should be and without pressuring, demanding and by being as supportive as I could, I now have the most amazing relationship with a very caring, wonderful thoughtful person for whom I love very much and can only hope he could love me as much in return. But most of all, I have gained the best friend I could ever have imagined in a million years.

So now, for the first time ever in my life with a bloke, I really miss him. As proud as I am of what he is doing I want to be selfish and say don't go, but obviously I wouldn't
I will say though that when he does come back safe and sound from this tour I might just have to be a tadge more vocal should he consider going again...

I hope he doesn't want to but then it will never be for me to make that decision.

So that's my little mind of concern of the day... I'll probably be fine on a mo and not even think about it in a bit but I am starting to think maybe I am jinxed sometimes. I finally get a fantastic lad and can't get to keep him, even if only for a while.

Bugger!

Now this exactly why my friends ARE my friends.

After my blog yesterday ref the somewhat waif and stray person wanting me to be social for what is - her benefit, not really mine... imagine my utter delight on reading my mates comment on how to reply to her text message just now;

Blogger The Widge said...

Something along the lines of "many thanks for your kind offer, but I have joined a Vodka and Tea-based cult and the rules say we aren't allowed to associate with half-wits and emotional leeches" should probably do the trick. ;-p

See? now that is exactly why Widge is my friend....
I have just about damn near wet myself.

But alas I have also gained another friend recently who is actually a close friend of S&L's but with her I actually get on really well with because she isn't a needy, whiney pain in the arse desperately grabbing for attention.

So here's the other thing the other gained friend knows said whiney needy lass very well, so I thought I would ask her opinion on how to reply in a somewhat tactful way.

Hers was very useful also with "Thanks but I'm doing ok so far, so shall see how it goes"
Or just if I couldn't manage to get that out to just ignore it.

Well what will I actually do? hmmmm I wonder.

Wonder my arse, I deleted the text - that decided for me.

And then, just when you thought it was all over...

He snuck home last night for half an hour to collect his new boots he had ordered.
(Smiling Bird again)

A busy day is a godsend but bloody knackered.

Well after the first job of the day in Old Buckenham which after the client appeared on site only to make our lives a bleeding misery and wanting more really inconveniant stuff on the only day we had yet another job booked in for the afternoon.... ohh hark at our hard work :)

Then when we did get to the second job we had the privilege of boss man "forgetting" to mention that he had been there before and there was a discrepancy that would for obvious reasons would bugger up what we were supposed to do.

Finally, after many phone calls, conformation on what he actually wanted we managed to finish off and sod off home again. Hoorah!

So picked up the Deefus on the way home and since being home have produced one of the smaller drawings but have said sod it, and will do the rest tomorrow when I have chuff all work booked in.

So now I have two things to do this evening. One of which is to have a long soak in the bath and the second is to figure out how the bloody hell I reply to a text message of someone I used to work with who is far too needy for my liking, asking if I struggle whilst Simon's away, want a cup of tea or a glass of wine to pop round. What makes it worse is she also only lives about 4 miles away from here, is desperately lonely with I'm guessing no really close friends and if I am honest I would rather gouge out my eyes with a blunt spoon than go anywhere near her.

You just know where it will go if I do, her spilling all her bloody woes of life onto me and me not really giving a monkeys arse. I have already in the last two years managed to get rid of two people in my life who in all fairness I should have gotten rid of many years before and now knowing that I don't need to even think about it any more lifes much easier!

Selfish I may be but fuck it, I'm looking after number one these days and will not be taking on board any weak waifes and strays as I really don't have the energy.
But there is also the fact that I have enough to worry about these days without adding to it.

Apologies but I ain'tgonna go there. Stuff it...
And now, how the hell do I word this text message without using the words...

"Fuck off"

Monday, 27 July 2009

I want an explanation and I bloody well want it right now!

How the bloody hell did I go from being a complete anti social misfit who would go to extremes to keep people out of her house / hair and life etc to a proper girly moment lala who is really missing someone?

When the bloody hell did that bugger sneak in? Proper sneaky fucker if you ask me.

So today is day one and if I am honest hasn't been too bad... had a bit of a dopey sniveling tart moment first thing after the lad actually went but luckily had Bob the chain man to keep me on the straight and narrow and... well properly distracted by pointing and laughing at all the clients today running around like headless chickens as they are after all - quite thick bless them.

I have though since coming home and finished faffing on the computer all the work for tomorrow now stopped, poured myself a vodka and though
"ohhhh it's bloody quiet here now" and where as before I would have absolutely loved that and strived for it to continue I find myself toddling round making random daft noises, singing and generally doing anything to make it loud and jolly. Db keeps giving me looks along the lines of : you just look a twat woman.
And just how slow is the time going? Jesus! - at this rate I will have a beard hair as long as my arm before he's home again.

Fingers crossed he 'should' be home for next weekend but I'm not going to get hopes up here as you just know if I do and he doesn't come back I will be mortified. And i really do need to keep ones self chipper for when he rings.

I also want to thank those special peeps who have been keeping me going with messages. Thanks loves and keep a sneaky eye on me eh? you know what I am like.
:)

I miss you Simon - this will be the longest year of my life I reckon.
x

Where's your head at.......

No idea if I am honest.

I've been through every sodding emotion under the sun in the last week and to be honest I am really bored with being a grumpy shit.

I'm scared that when S&L starts his deployment training Monday that I will miss him more than ever.

I'm frightened he's going to get hurt or worse when actually out playing with the T-Ban sorts.

I'm shitting myself that if he likes this one will want to do another one.

I have cried far too many times in the last 24 hours and now I need to just be strong, happy and support what it is he does.

I'm really going to be proper lost from next week.

Saturday, 18 July 2009

Well that's just bloody typical.

Bearing in mind the time on startong this little ditty (05:58) and the fact that I have actually been awake... err actually WIDE awake since around 02:00, you can imagine that today in the aftermath I could take it easy, have a nap as and when I would require and pretty much sort myself out over the coming 24 hours...

This will not be the case because today is Short & loud's deployment BBQ for the handful of closest friends he has chosen, most of which will also be staying over in tents. As you can imagine - it's likely to get slightly messy! But fun all the same.

So now I will have the privalige of said BBQ looking like shite and proper knackered too boot!
Bugger.

Actually thats a lie, you know what these things are like... once the people start arriving, drink starts flowing and I've then forgotten all about spending the lasy 4 hours bored shitless, 2 of those hours spent trying to get the sodding internet connection back on again (chuffing thunderstorms) However - as you can see all here again and have every intention on spending however much longer S&L is going to sleep for, catching up on stuff I have missed on the internet due to me just be, well rubbish.

So fingers crossed I wont just collapse in a bowl of chilli, be it meaty or veggie... and fun and giggles had all round.

Photos will be facebooked as always.

Wobble spack doobry wibble la la

It's been a week of WFT to the highest degree for me it seems.
Don't quite know why but either way I have survived through to the other side somewhat drained but alive nonetheless.

I have worked 4 days (wooooo) Actually that's technically a lie, most jobs I do are out of site in the am then home - supposedly completing the computer side in the PM which I don't. More like either a sod off out with short & loud, or toddle off to the gym... or pretty much anything to save me actually having to do something.

Either way I have now caught up with all the drawings for work needed for clients, now know there is nothing in for tomorrow so actually have a day where I am able to catch up and sort out the surveying templates so I don't have to "convert" everything each time.
Also just get everything in order so I can sort it all out good and proper.

So the mentalist stuff this week? All short & loud. We have had varying tales as to what he will be doing and where and when after the 27th... we also have him getting his divorce sorted (finally) and the selling of general tat on ebay to try to make a load of dosh for skint little old me who is finally paying Mumsie Banks back what I borrowed last year.

But the funniest thing has been happenening in the last few hours right outside our front window. A silly progression of events but just downright funny to us all the same.

Now considering I call the livingroom window "Cat TV" I think I can see why the girls have been addicted.
To get you up to date with the story of the street we have a rather humungous woman, her husband and her yongest son & daughter living to the left of our window, a few houses down. Then to the right of the window another few houses down lives the woman aboves other (assuming eldest) daughter who herself has her own daughter (screaming little banshie style toddler) she lives there with her latest bit of fluff bloke.

Now we can only assume that they just don't do" anything, as all they ever seem to do is walk up and down the sodding street to and from each others houses. (I would like to point out this is an improvment as the rather large lass did initially drive between the two homes, all of 100 metres.

So imagine today when we have started to notice, not only are the back and forwards more than normal but taking from the mothers house so far -
a parasol,
garden chairs,
bags of food
what could have been a keg of beer
bottles of beers
blankets and such like.

So now, we are in a quandry, because if a sodding bbq is now wheeled past we are just going to go out and ask why the fuck they don't just have the party at the mothers house?

Dear god we are left giggling. Quite sad really on our part. not that we are sitting doing sod all but that we notice such shit!

A momentous occasion in history and I'm sick to fucking death hearing about it.

It was technically yesterday, but low and behold... Michael Jackson died of a heart attack, or was it a stroke? or maybe a coma? who the fuck knows and to be honest who cares?

I hate nothing more than a bloody media frenzy and this is an ocean going fur lined bugger and you just know it's not going to calm again for some time, driving anyone who really couldn't give a monkeys arse completely mental.

But the worst of it? The whole "social networking" reaction to such news... OMG! WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT? HOW WILL WE GO ON?
Oh, get down from that cross, somebody needs the wood.

Has everyone all of a sudden forgotten just how not quite right in the head this person was?
Changing his own skin colour from black to white (oh good name for a song that)
Pulling little boys about and then the best one, dangling his own toddler over a hotel balcony.

But no! this man has produced so many wonderful pieces of music - this is a fact I do not dispute in the slightest but to describe him as "My generations Elvis Prestley" You can fuck right off there matey.

So tell me at what point in his life was Elvis a paedophile?

Fucking edjits I tell you.
Sooner that blokes buried burned and out of the media I will be a much happier bunny I can tell you. Fucking retard with money... dangerous combination that.

Rant over - go enjoy your lives now people, nothing else to see here.

Thursday, 25 June 2009

Oh - that was a bonus!

Amazing how quickly six months can pass by.

Not only did my big boss man call me in yesterday to have our "6th month overhaul" as such but its also means I have just about been off the fags for a whole half a year (well give or take till next Wednesday)

So not only am I now the proud owner of a pay rise... of a job which has Little legs jealous of due to just how little time I actually work but I am also a happy little bee too! Scary really!

Ok so there are parts of my life currently that I am not exactly ecstatic about - like:

1. Little legs starting his deployment tat on 27th July.
2. The fact that I still owe my Mum a LOT of money for the time I didn't have a job but working on that now.
3. The fact that Db, is getting on and I wont have her for much longer but she still as happy as ever.

However, I can really honestly say I actually have more things I love about life than the other way round which is a shock.

1. I have finally found someone I want to spend the rest of my life with
(assuming he can put up with me of course!)
2. I have now given up the fags totally and very proud of myself for that fact but couldn't have done it without a good reason and I think Little legs is a bloody good reason if you ask me!
3.I actually have a job which doesn't take all of my time, drain me of my soul and will to live and for some strange reason doesn't cause me as much physical pain as the old jobs did...

and many more but really can't list them now as I need to cut the grass!

So there you have it, I am (as Jean so delicately put it) enjoying every second of him still being home... for example, we went for a walk along the beach Saturday and it fucked it down with rain... but I loved it.

Friday, 19 June 2009

Stuck between a rock, a hard place and a short loud man.

.... all the same, I will see how it goes.

Seems other half has had the deployment date brought forward and will be starting the proceedings from Monday July 27th now and not 1st Sept as previously arranged - which is a bugger.

Obviously I am still very proud of the fact this is what he wants to do (and in some aspects) needs to do, but I am also very much aware of the fact that when I finally get my life where I want it to be, am very happy and for once - content, then bugger me a big chunk of "ohhh you could lose him in this whole situation" comes and gives me the 5 boot laces up the arse... as per usual.

Honestly, I really don't know where to put my head on this one. I love the boy to bits but am so concerned that I will never see him again if he goes over there just breaks my heart.

The worst part is every time I come up with a reason in my head why he shouldn't go - the rest of me realises it's just me being selfish.

So now I will just make the most of the time I do have with him and do the only thing I can, support him and make him realise that I love him to bits.

Friends come friends go - but alas this one I might have just REALLY pissed off.

But not in the way I expected! How weird is that?!?!?

I will just explain the situation here as if nothing else I would like to clarify in my own head as to what the fuck just happened over the past 24 hours.

It starts with Sarah, of whom I used to work with many moons ago whom we got to be classed as friends I guess. We spent many evenings running round watching bands, drinking, enjoying being young and a shoulder to cry on the many times she went somewhat loopy over who had dumped her last.

This all kind of fizzled out when she moved back into the city and finally found a bloke who is most likely to tolerate most of her weird and wonderful ways. Hell I'm no catch or angel but think I do have a tadge more common sense sometimes.

So as with the other times she has a bloke I never normally see hide nor hair of her - which wasn't a bad thing. So when we did finally get back in contact as such and start meeting up on a regular occasion and she said her and the chap were getting married I was really chuffed for her. He is perfect for her in so many ways that the fact she will be happy, get on with what she wants to do with him etc alls well and good.

So, Me and S&L were invited to the wedding... very nice and thank you very much but from how it was initially envisaged from chatting, the reception would be bales of hay stacked, a grass roots band and quite a casual friendly affair.

So imagine when we appear at the venue at 4pm (time stated on the invite I might add) Bride is just getting out of the car there - so we are as good as damn it late which is initially bad enough But every one is suited and booted, hats with feathers and the whole nine fucking yards and here's us two standing like a couple of bleeding lemons in smart casual expecting it to be quite in formal.

We couldn't stay, we felt embarrassed, I thought we would embarrass the bride, we did say we would return for the meal but the situation would still have been the same.

We came home and had a BBQ due to expecting to be fed at said wedding didn't have food in for anything especially and then I obviously made that fatal mistake stating on facebook bbq and wine - fantastic. She's obviously read this - copped the arse left a cooment about her wedding was also very nice... then knocked me off her friends list.

So knowing she will probably read this - and in the message I have sent with the words not dissimilar to bollocks to you then I will once again state that if you want to stop being in contact with me just for that - I really don't want to be having you as a mate anyway.

I could list all the other stuff that annoys me about you as well but y'now what? the sun's shining, it's a glorious day out there and me and S&L are gonna go enjoy it. Giggling somewhat.

Some people just crack me right up sometimes.

Sun, big sister and doctors....

Been and odd sort of a day. Spent the morning with big sister visiting on her way back home to collect some veggie plants I had spare and a chat about various things, of which were good to be honest and stuff I will be considering for sure.

Then the bad bit of the day - had my three yearly smear test today. One of the few times I will wear a skirt lmao. I hate having it done as I should imagine does every other woman but has to be done now. Wouldn't want to be ending up like the old Jade Goody bird now would we?
Errr no

Then there is the fact we have had glorious sunshine all day, of which I am once again the blame for as I used virtually all of the water in the butts the other day thinking we were gonna have heavy rain as they were predicting... errrr no.

So now I can sit back... somewhat achy due to a good stint at the gym and have a sip or two of wine and relax = about bloody time I say!

Tuesday, 26 May 2009

So so - the day pans out alright after all....

I did finally get of one's arse, go to the gym via the supermarket for tea bags... sorted that initial problem. Then had a good hour and a half in the gym / pool being irritated by three, for want of a better words "lads" fucking about in the pool. Bless them didn't even occur to them I was old enough to be their sodding mother *sheesh*

Then on return home and checking up on the new little visitor in a shoe box who was pretty much back to full alertness judging by how he was trying to bit my gloved finger, so took him down the bottom of the garden and coaxed him in to a high level hole into the eaves of the wood shed which should give him plenty of peace and quiet until tonight when he can float off into the night and rejoin his group again.

So due to my efforts of the day and the fact that I am now not only fucking knackered and a bit Hank Marvin' starving am cooking up some oven chips as I haven't had chips for bloody ages and might even do some eggs to go with said chips.

yummy :D

Cats, bats, rain and tea bags (or lack of)

Not only is is fooking pissing down today (which is the second factor of no work today - well that and we have none ready to go as yet anyway...)

But its is also a dangerous situation here in Clements Castle, as I have just used the last tea bag up in the house and it's only 11am.
Now I am quite reluctant to make one trip out into the wet wild world just to go buy bloody tea bags which leaves me with only three other options.
I Have put in a request with S&L to pick some up on his way home.
This is a flawed option though as he started work today at 5am meaning only likely to finish at 17:00 ish - will then spend an hour at the gym so by the time he does finally get here with tea I will be a crumpled dehydrated heap on the floor with tea withdrawal death.
Then there is the - I could go an borrow some from my next door neighbour. This would be quite so bad but even though his car is there he's not. This leaves me not amused as I am now half way down said last cup of tea with no solution in sight as yet and panic has started to set in.

Of course there IS option three which is actually a good version meaning I get off my arse with gym kit, go have a workout and a swim (thus distracting me fro lack of tea) also the fact that gym is next to a sainsbugs.... thus allowing me to go purchase tea bags, come home sit back and relax with a cuppa once again.

OK - will decide exactly what that situation warrants in a moment.

Then we have the cat and the bat scenario this morning.
Whilst trying to sort out some washing this morning was inundated by the highest pitched screeching sound coming from near the front door.
I wander out to find Nipper pawing over a small furry thing making the noise in question.
Quite chuffed I had managed to get her this time before she left the rodent behind the sofa again... yeah yummy smell that one...
Put on a pair of gloves - picked it up only to realise its a poor little sodding bat of which does actually seem to be pretty intact considering... I can only put this down to neither of these cats have many teeth these days!

I took him round the back to a place where he would be protected from anything and could either recover and hide up or die... the usual tact and came back in.
After 10 mins and a pang of guilt, had a look on a local bat group website for info and decided to go get the poor little bugger in, snuggled up in a shoe box but at least warm and dry for either eventuality.

I also managed to get the daft little shite to have some water and currently its still snuggled up in said box, on the windowsill in here and makes the screechy noise of you try moving it.
FFS. Great, I now have a chuffing bat.
Worst part is - I've just given it more water and it's starting to improve... Oh well if that's the case it can go outside again and sort itself out!

So Nipper is in the dog house as such. I need to sort myself out and figure exactly what it is I am doing today!

I'm ok.... to a certain degree I suppose.

Excuse the picture above - I just found it hilarious :)

Yes, I have finally sat down here with the intention on updating with
the efforts of "Clements Castle" of late.

Well, for one I have had hardly any work in the last couple of weeks. Remember me mentioning boss man would guarantee at least two days a week? Well that has been the case. Not forgetting that there have been bank holidays in there as well granted but work has just gone rather quiet.
A pain on the cash front yes but not a bad thing getting to have some time with S&L seeing as he only has 3 months left before being deployed. Hmmm that's getting a little bit too close now for my liking but bugger all I can do about that.

Other than that - joining the gym has gone well so far. Managed to go at least 4 times a week since I joined, so if nothing else it has already paid for itself this month, and I for one am rather proud of myself for efforts so far too. I can't say there is any noticeable change to the flab as yet but these things do take time after all.

There does seem to be a light at the end of the S&L tunnel now though. Since his somewhat thick as shit wife "donated" a good chunk of her debt onto him when he left and him spending a good nearly two years saving and paying them all back he has now gone form no credit rating to a dang fine one thank you very much and I for one am very proud of what he's achieved. I think it probably is a relief to him that I for one can organise my financial affairs unlike "simples" and if anything else actually contribute to him finally being somewhat secure once again.

Garden is going well so far in this second year of veg... well some of it is.
Most of the brocolli, cabbage, carrots, broad beans, lettuce, courgettes, pumpkin & beetroot are well on their way. However unlike last year I cannot for love nor money seem to get any sodding runner beans to sprout. What the fucks wrong with that? And after seeing James May's plasticine efforts in the Chelsea Flower show this year I don't think I will be worrying about it too much :D

Only other problem I've been having this year I didn't struggle so much with last year is the addition to the family of two cats. Yep The Tiggywoo and Nipper too deciding that my veg patches and beds are a grand place to pee in did need to be addressed somewhat.
Amazing what you can do with that expandable trellis!

So thats me currently.... quite a content happy little sod to be honest. Working hard when i need to but certainly not working ones arse off and with ever intention to make the most of every moment with S&L as physically possible!

Goodo!

Wednesday, 20 May 2009

ohhhhhhhhhh hello!

Now that's just silly talk as is always the same with me.

On the plus side, over the last 24 hours I have been into the old myspace accounts of Mr_Arse & Trout, pasting all of the posts from those blogs into here.
I can't guarantee that they will be in the correct order, as it did involve posting each individual blog one by one. The other thing that did bring to my attention on re-reading of some of my posts is bloody hell do I ever get on-line when not drunk and do I ever stop bloody moaning?

Either way it certainly kept me entertained for a good few hours last night I can tell you.

So what could possibly have happened of late in the world of Arse/Trout hell I dunno who I am these days :D
Well I have been very good since the stopping of smoking back in January. I joined the gym a few weeks back and finally managed to get in and book my induction and programme as suggested by this young oik of a lad who didn't quite like the idea that I actually know better when it comes to my knees and lack of, well ability to do anything with them sometimes it seems.
Good thing is I now have a full range of stuff to do when I am there now all targeting that nice chunky area of thighs, tum and arse. I did actually only have to go to work at 09:30 today in the main office so after dropping off daft labrador got a good 2 hours in there faffing before work. Can't be bad and quite proud of myself for efforts so far.
I shall update you as and when things start to improve on the
"can I get my arse into my jeans again" front :)

The good thing about there not being too much work on of late is we got to actually go to the cinema the other day to watch Angels & Demons which was... OK. Granted the book was good and the film is very close to the book but still a tadge far fetched for my liking...

Well that's me somewhat up to date of late - will no doubt get rasped soon and spill a shitload more soon!

hey ho!

Sharing of the vodka, and rightly so.

Evidently I am still in a strop as S&L is only going to be home in the next hour (selfish fucking scouts - I say)

However once again the house or garden "got it" Not a bad thing really - He's not here, I get bored and "Bosch" veggies are planted outside, house is spotless once again, all furry items are fed & watered (granted one is sitting here looking at me whining as she is fucking pinning for her daddy of all things) but other than that everything is in order even down to stuff ready for work tomorrow and I can sit here and giggle at the fact its raining and the veg I have moved is being watered in nicely.

So the main problem? I am - once again... drunk.
yes this is due to him not being here etc etc blah blah but then if I can't cope now, how the fuck am I going to get on when he's shuffled off to the desert in September -

certainly food for thought for me.
talking of food - I had better get tea started.

Saturday, 16 May 2009

Vodka and red-bull worthy? I should say so.

I've had a proper cunt of a day if I am honest. Ok so it's not up there with the worst day in the world type thing but it was one of theose you just 'know' it's going to be wank and no matter how hard you try it wont be any better.

The reason for this? Bloody home watch training day if which, as I suspected turned into a day of people being selfish, whining about their own little issues and not seeing the bigger picture and because the fact most of these people are in their "certainly fucking older than me" years will they even consider that the world doesn't actually revolve around then? dear god no... of course not!

Then, we also have the "where the fuck is short & loud" issue which has annoyed me must be said. They Scouts arranged for him to be on a recruitment stand this weekend and to be honest its at a local steam rally approx 20 mins drive away... so the cunts have had him since Friday fucking night (and tonight obviously judging by my drunk state and pissed off mood) FFS! Is it not bad he's going to chuff off for god knows how long in September off to probably get his arse shot off but they have to hog him when he's just up the bleeding road... wankers.

You can tell I have been proper annoyed as the bathroom now has two new glass shelves and is as clean as a whistle.

Other than that - I'm dandy - but then I would be... I'm as pissed as a fart now!

Sunday, 10 May 2009

Celebrations, merriment and feeling proper ronnied today.

That's the good thing about other peoples birthdays, I still get the chance to get shitfaced good and proper.

Yep, Short & loud's 40th went really well. I bought his pressie back in January so didn't have to worry about any of that faff - got him the Lowa boots he wanted for boy scouts stuff... then yesterday lots of friends came together to drink and be merry and to say I have suffered today is an understatement. But worth every moment of it.

Enevitably I will recover - as will S&L but to recoop today will just be spent larding and playing poker online...lol

Poorly bunny

It's not often these days I come home sick - in fact havent had one day sick since I started working here but today I think my head might just explode and I can only put it down to the fact that I am a twat and cant find my prescription sunglasses.

I have spend a good couple of months trying to find them, even managed to go without on holiday by using contact lenses and wearing normal shades but today the squint has caused me to have a right nasty old headache.

A nasty enough headache to warrant us coming home again at 12 noon, and me sodding straight into the city to specsavers to order another two pairs if sunnies as I just cannot stand this any more.
So I am another £75 odd quid lighter and have two pairs due in the post in about a week which means I will have to spend the next few days surveying looking like a welder :P

Wednesday, 29 April 2009

Hello, Good Evening & Welcome.

That sounds quite posh for me doesn't it?
I'm sure given five mins and my current state that will soon change.

Ok so here we are... me a tadge tiddly (Simon's at scouts for the first time in ages) I've just finished the drawing of what we surveyed today down in Harwich... Not quite sure why the fuck we were right down there but as much as I would have loved to pop in and say hello to the Widged one on the way back, had a miserable grump of a Bob the chain man with me and in all fairness we didn't actually pass Harlow... hmmmm ok ?!?!?

So update....-
You are not sacked in the slightest, in fact I'm very impressed with the suggestions coming in reference the Simon person and what the bloody hell I can refer to him as.
Oddly I wont be using any of them, mainly because 'nibs' (oh come on, got to get one last one in before I announce the new one...) has asked if I can use the nickname which has in all fairness stuck quite well and quite descriptive too.... namely:

"Little legs"

So in true 'me' fashion - from now on I will refer to Simon as:
"Short & loud"
(buggered if I will be doing anything anyone wants! HA!)

Ok so the holiday..... was really fantastic. Yes, a small jaunt to Plymouth granted but I really did enjoy it with walks over Dartmoor - in fact even purchased a pair of PROPER walking boots for the efforts whilst there and also got to meet S&L's mum too... She is really nice bless her and you can certainly see where he gets a lot of his traits from :D
In all fairness the last proper holiday I had was to the Llama's all those years ago.... and to be able to have a proper week off type break was grand. Well worth the money spent.

I will at some point upload some photos, should anyone want to see them but be warned, no photos of me, just S&L, coastlines and lighthouses to be honest! But as with me, all very artistic lmao

OK what else?
Ahhh yes. Apologies to those who follow the trout via my space as I really have neglected it and have every intention to continue to if I am honest. As much as I like the anonymity of it all I really cant be arsed to check this that and the other when i do actually get online. Oh come on, at least i do have a job these days so don't sit on here moaning all the fucking time! You should be chuffed. I wont be deleting the account as like the Mr arse profile the blogs still stay intact and even I have a giggle and go read back some of the shit I have posted when bored - well why not!

Then there is the
"I've turned into a fat fucker since stopping smoking, how will we be dealing with that then?" OK maybe that might be a bit of an exaggeration -
How would I describe it? Hmmm honestly more of a "got a bit of chunk on the old thighs and arse" syndrome. I'm no skinny bint for sure but am nowhere near as fat as the fucking cousins from hell, which seem to keep appearing on bloody face book...all added under the restricted privacy group called "I think not" for some strange reason. Giving them access to pretty much fuck all information of I am honest.

The way forward is.... I have joined the local gym. Yes, tight arsed banks has started forking out 35 quid a month just to use a sodding swimming pool every day at 06:30 it seems.
Don't get me wrong, novelty hasn't worn off yet and I have been going quite well this week and fingers crossed wont kill myself by Friday...lol give me time though and considering i will be monitoring the progress via the Nintendo wii fit as well will keep you up to date as much as I can be bothered - which is quite good for me!

Lets just give you the initial starting weight as taken at the beginning of this week then will just take the piss out of my crap progress from here on in.
To get the gist of my weight -
normal ish standard weight - 9 3/4 stone dress size 12/14
weight after dad shite last year - 9 stone: dress size 10

weight before giving up fags - 9 1/4: dress size 10 but a tadge tight :P

weight after bunting up due to giving up fags, eating like a horse and enjoying S&L's cooking:

10 1/2 fucking stones. however these currently feel like bricks hence the joining the gym etc. I will get there and not smoking does help me actually swim without having a coughing fit - looking like I might just die, so certainly cant be bad.
Either way I am proud of my lacking in fags, short and loud is also proud as are the rest of my family. fucking right too if you ask me!

Thursday, 16 April 2009

What the bloody hell happened there?

A couple of odd messy mad things transpired today....

One of which was the fact that there was 'supposed' to be no more work for me to do until I came back from Plymouth next week.
Not that I am complaining, as I certainly am not and in fact, the job in question is just a scoot round a site to produce a quote for a survey anyway and considering poor boss man is on crutches after his hip op and likely to be for some time how could I possibly say no?

So this morning was supposed to be just quickly sorting out yesterdays survey drawing, sending it to the boss to send on to the client and make him feel like he still has something to do... this ended up taking me until about 12:30 but did also include a shit load of PA work for the other half as well - including driving to the next village out to register him with the doctors!

Finally managed to complete drawing and was just about to email it and he rings me asking if I could go and do this site visit tomorrow... yeah, of course I can but trying to get said information of location has turned out to be a bit of a shite due to fax machine throwing a right royal hissy fit... all sorted now for 09:00 tomorrow... and daft dawg gets to come along too.

Then after a telephone conversation with big sister seems I have some more readers to the daftness blog :P
Hello! Welcome! but never take what you read here too seriously as I am after all... full of shit normally!

Other than that - the rest of today I have to myself and have every intention of fannying about with the veg in the garden in a moment, watering other stuff and coming back in to sit on ones arse ready for "him" to come home!

Nope, haven't thought of a name yet... and you lot are really no bloody help at all *sigh*

Tuesday, 14 April 2009

That's it, you're all sacked.....OK not really

See now this is the one and only nice thing about..... errrrr Chappie? No, that's a dog food... Better half? nope I don't like that either, hmmm OK for now... Simon being on ridiculous earlies (3 AM starts) is its now 8pm and he's already gone to bed which leaves me to sit here and write utter shite online whilst being attacked once again by the blue meanie puddy cat Nipper.

Now since no one has yet come up with anything as a replacement for 'his nibs' you are officially sacked, so ner.

Yeah yeah, I know. Just wanted to start on someone as its been a mental day.

Will sit back and shut up again now.

Monday, 13 April 2009

Answers on a postcard please.....

I am for once in a major quandary about 'his nibs' and its exactly that nickname that has caused the problem.

How long have I been calling him that?... forever it seems, however this now needs to change because... he doesn't like it :) which is actually fair enough!

The problem I am actually faced with now though is what the bloody hell do I refer to him as???
I am for once at a loss. He did suggest "other half" or other such things but they really don't hit the mark when describing ... well... him.

So that is your challenge dear reader, should you choose to accept it... come up with a suitable referral method of the chap in question and the winner might just get something amazing plop onto the door mat after the closing date... OK so may there is no prize but any help would certainly be appreciated!

Ok should I update on the other exciting things to happen in these neck of the woods? Hell I have a vodka so why not.

There is to be a slight name change from the original "arse towers" from now on due to Big sister and her aptly named "Horsely Hall" Evidently we are now residing in "Clements Castle" which obviously is much bigger and grander than a hall... *cough* My arse!

Then we have the work front. I have pretty much been working non stop these days which is actually fantastic. Boss man Brendan went in for his hip operation Thursday of last week and according to the proper boss (his wife Shirley) all went well and he's pretty much on the road to recovery and should be home again soon. All the more work for me to do then!

Then we have my amazing ability to tend to the vegetables growing in the greenhouse so far. After being a bit "gung hoe" and planting some stuff out when still to small of which are being savaged by something, not quite sure exactly what yet - keeping them in the greenhouse until a point there is just too much for the cannibalistic thing that lives under my shed to cope with.
On the plus side the list of stuff actually seeding is fantastic and at some poitn I will list them but we know how it will end... I wont and the only way you will know is from the photos of said stuff just at the point I will eat them! Oh well, better than chuff all eh?

Oh good news week! I am finally, for the first time in bloody years going on holiday! Granted it is a trip down to Plymouth (where errrrr hmmmmm *insert new nickname here* is from) of which one of the visits will be for me to meet his Mum of which I am really looking forward to, but it will be an opportunity to leave the mobile switched off, not be contactable and yes Not even have access to the web... I really can't wait! Photo's galore!

Then, finally, we have a frog update!!!
Over the past 2 weeks, my mother has pointed out 'she' has some frogs spawn in her pond, then I noticed that site I am currently surveying manholes, 'their' pond has some bloody frogs spawn in it too.... did mine have any? did it bollocks. I was starting to think that because I had only put it in this year it wasnt likely I would get any in there. Then today, whilst scalping the grass so as to have time to give the mower to my neighbour John for a service, I happened to glance over at the pond and YAY!!!! I am the proud owner of my own little spawn of frogs... well as such :)

I did have a quick scank about for the frogs again and you've guessed it... little fuckers are still in their holiday home up in the pipe near the house but hey at least I managed to get a better photo this time and they have figured where it is safer from the monsters of the garden these days... namely Tigger & Nipper!

Would just like to point out through all the daftness the mad black labrador is still going strong as ever with her silly 'lets keep your arthritic lump warm eh?' She also does seem to like the cats being here too, which is handy!

Nighty night all, time to join the three snorers in the other room :P

Right proud of the older sister me :P

Have a gander at the link for my big sister Sandy's exhibition in May. I for one am really impressed with her efforts and both myself and nibs will be attending one of the open days!

Oddly the link has been removed on 28/01/10 because my sister things I am a useless cunt.

Oh well, no more sister for me then... what a shame.

Monday, 6 April 2009

The ultimate "that'll teach me" I guess!

I would normally give this kind of irony a good laughing at but for once I really am suffering due to pretty much me being a mucky tart!

I am currently laid up in bed, after a day of supping on Co-codamol tabs whilst struggling like bollocks
to survey and finally coming home to a VERY hot bath and hot water bottles and now sleep.

So the reason for the pain? Yep spent all day in bed yesterday, felt very guilty for not getting on with the stuff I was supposed to do and karma has now slapped ones butt big stylie... that will teach me :P

Returned we have....

I will quite happily admit that in my life time I haven't been to many weddings... In fact if I am honest, I cant remember one! But that could be due to past memory suppression or just was as pissed as a fart either way nothing jogs the grey matter this end.

So The wedding attended Thursday can only be described as.... errr, well not that exciting really.
It was at Gretna Green which you expect to be all 'spur of the moment' and such shit, but this was organised about 8 weeks ago. The location was really nice granted, the ceremony was also really sweet but I can certainly say not the way I would want to be going with any such shite I can tell you.

Personally, I would actually prefer less! No people there I knew, in fact probably not even in this location at all. But either way just an even more simple thing. Hell what do I know? I can't see me ever getting married! ha ha ha!

So the wedding..... here's a pic with me actually in it:

Not very clear I know but tough!
All I will say is, Good luck to both Paul & Kelly. May your life together be the best you could ever imagine and you are happy ever after.

As for me, I am quite drunk - yes, on a school night - and off to bed!

Wednesday, 25 March 2009

It been all go in this neck of the woods...

Yes friends of mine with access to my Facebook status will be aware of a slight 'annoyance' over the past few days but hell it's all the joy of working again and as much stress as it seems to give me - it also karma's right back at me as well making me feel much better in the long run.

The job in question was setting out some piling information at a site in Great Yarmouth. Now there's a place to avoid at all costs normally but when being paid... got to be done.
Long story short, Monday we turned up - were given no initial information, finally managed to get four corner of the new building coordinates out of the architect by phone, then went home after twiddling thumbs for most of the day. Monday night I was emailed a grid PDF (note, not a drawing) with dimensions for me to Re-draw it all then produce approx 100 coordinate points for the next days set out. Hours later she has coordinates and can go to bed.
Tuesday, we set out the building grid points... then as that's all the information we have pack up and sod off. Site man goes nuts, calls his boss, then my boss who says the same thing as I did... "we can only mark out coordinates if we are given a drawing to take them from in the first place, we cant just bring them out of thin air!"
So last night I am sitting there waiting until just gone half eight and the dimension PDF comes through... ok i figure, another 87 or so points. I sit there and coordinate them again when at 22:40 ANOTHER one comes through with the entire site in grid points... roughtly another 207 or so... Lets just say I wasnt really very chuffed. BUT I was good, I sat there and coordinated them all, we went today and slapped as much as physically possible on the floor for the boys to be able to sort themselves out.

They are 'sort of' happy, I am very happy and I get to go home with an extra chunk of cash in my pocket for th extra hours worked.

So now I have the rest of this week, which will be spent in Scotland! Gretna Green to be specific. No, don't panic. Yes it is for a wedding but not mine :P Can't see that ever happening!

Nope, two of our friends are getting hitched, so Nibs and I are toddling off up there tomorrow then back home again Friday. I cant wait to be honest. I was initially not that keen but due to a change of events I will get to drive up and back with nibs now which I much prefer than being in a car with people who will want to smoke.
(Yes, I am still fag free but dont want to tempt fate!)

So in a couple of days when I return I shall hopefully be able to post piccys for you all to laugh at ;)

Today, I will be mostly hurting.

I never really seem to learn. This is very evident when you look back on my previous in, well anything to be honest.

However once again I have been running round like a bleedin' banshee in the garden today, finishing the construction of the two new raised veggie patches, emptying three of the 4 black compost bins into them, moving said bins into a much more useful location then a wry smile cam across my face and I decided to REALLY piss off the cunt of a neighbour to reported my front fence to the planning department at the council.

Remembering how it ended last time, with me reducing the height of the 'specific' bits at the front as ordered by planning, still leaving the six foot panels to the side of the cunt in question's house. Well since then the whole side next to his has gradually started to lean into my garden. Hmmm odd that.
I came to the conclusion that the shite has been gradually giving it a little push each time he goes past... wanker.

Today's efforts where certainly 10 out of 10 for effort I can tell you.
Bearing in my the cunt in question had already managed to annoy me at approximately 8am by coming down to the bottom of the garden to just 'snout' at what I was doing with the compost bins, not that it has fuck all to do with him of course...coming out with some daft thing about what I was doing, when it bloody obvious what I was doing. Twat.

So after that, and knowing he and the wife (she's really nice bless her) had gone out for the
day figured it would be perfect day for re-fixing the fence again, whapping the posts down a tadge more to really secure them, slapped some wedges in there as well to make sure they wont loosen. But the best bit? just for annoyance factor to him?
I put the panels up even higher than they were before.

heh heh ya cunt blow that out of your arse matey.

Ta-da!

Sorry - no real reason for a "tada" but it has been of of those days... :)

Did actually go to "the office" for an hour this morning, if anything just to bash heads together of me and the boss of what's going to be happening this week.

Then, seeing as we have has some stunningly nice weather today I decided to produce the next two raised beds in the veggie patch of which will hopefully be ready for when the first batch of stuff being started in the greenhouse already.

Then this afternoon I had the privilege of another doctors appointment of which was having two moles removed - nothing ugly moles wise, just ones that catch or irritate and I wanted gawn.

Now I have had moles removed before some years ago but was delicately reminded of the slight downsides to such a procedure!
It's a local anaesthetic jobby which is an injection - hurts number 1...
Then comes the not painful but weird sensation when he was tugging at the bloody things!
Then they use a soldering iron type thing to burn off anything left and help it to heal I guess. The smell of burning flesh is never a nice one.
But the bit that I had forgotten, which knocked me for six when I returned home and the local started to wear off... was the stinging and the itching!!! ahhhhh!

It's been a few hours now and with the aid of Pernod and Dr Pepper I am certainly feeling much better but the scars this thing is gonna leave are going to fit in well with all the others!!

Not to worry...:)

And we're off.........

Yep today has certainly been a much better affair after yesterdays efforts of trauma and such shit.

Managed to get ones arse round to Mumsie Banks's as promised to take her and Cynthia shopping. Did the usual and bought myself some tat too I probably didn't really need but hey ho not a problem I can see!

Then this evening we have both decided to sit on arses and enjoy the lardying factor and watch some tv. Perfect if you ask me.

On the plus side, we have a little cat asleep here between us who is recovering perfectly bless her and certainly a much happier little bugger with a healthier mouth.
