Two really good things happened today, one of which was I was 'trained' this morning on the truck I will be driving to Santa Pod Friday night. Now the reason I have to be trained as such is it's not your standard bit of kit this one. Ok look at this photo:
And imagine it painted black with this logo slapped all over it…
Then you have it:
It's been nicknamed "NEL" by the boys because of it's number plate (not very imaginative granted) and I have already started calling it "the beast". Every other operator who has driven it in the past has described it's driving as a bitch or a bastard but I had my first spin round
It's left hand drive, automatic, bloody huge and great fun to drive… I was impressed I can tell you.
Just a shame I will be going to an event which will be predominantly over-run by chav's with their piss poor Nova's with garish body kits all over them blowing them up on the raceway (this happens often I have been told and produces much delight over the course of the day to the likes of us operators)
So, evidently after all the being away over the last week and the excitement of today I am totally knackered and am about to toddle off to bed and really appreciate my day off tomorrow…
The second good thing? Seeing boy fruity again after being away.
Sleeping in tomorrow people… do not disturb!
