Today I have pruned & tided the garden so harshly I think it may be still in shock wondering quite what the fuck happened. But it does then lead to this evenings shenanigans of which will be a big ole' hairy arsed bonfire.
*rubs hands together in anticipation*
There's something about having a fire that really does get me to the core. Aspiring pyromaniac, oh yes. Even to the fact I warned my neighbours to hand over anything they have to burn to add to it – heh heh
So the ritual starts in about half an hour, one freshly poured pint of Guinness and a weird woman with a surreal glint in her eye playing with fire…..
…then coming in during in the twilight hours smelling like a smoked kipper…

For the first time in many a year I actually feel settled, content, comfortable and pleased with my life. Which, considering how many life changing things which have kicked in over the past two or so months does surprise me immensely.
Things I wouldn't have imagined have made me just sit back, contemplate and smile to myself. Ok so I'm not your 'normal' sort of a lass by most peoples standards but in the big picture of it all I don't think I'm completely left field. Just maybe a tadge unusual I guess.
So tonight I raise a toast to me, having not have had in my life a nervous breakdown, such a nervous disposition that leaves me never to enjoy life and the ability to speak my mind to anyone or anything.
It doesn't half blow out some cobwebs.

chipper Well after the first 2 days of training I'm, 1. kin' knackered and 2. one very happy little bunny.
I think after all of 2 days we can safely say I have made the right and best decision and wont regret it for one moment. (however ask me again in a few months when there's fuck all money coming in….)
Right need to have a shower then do some homework!

Day one of training for new job starts tomorrow. Bricking it ever so slightly, but nothing the few cans of Boddingtons I have consumed haven't helped with.
Struggled a bit today as ended up sitting outside for a good hour this morning on St Andrews waiting for Clarkie and froze in the nipply wind and to be honest haven't managed to warm up again since. Wood burner has been kicked in and I have every intention of plonking ones cold arse on front of it for the night. Brrrrr
I decided to make a start on clearing some of my desk today seeing as I wouldn't be there now for a week and a half due to training and yet again I seem to have boxes of crap now sitting about. Bugger. Where does this stuff come from?
So shall I go through the boxes tonight? Nah, sod that it can wait until the weekend when I am feeling more energetic.

The good news is, I can now find all of my tools, get to the workbench and grinder and my bike has finally stopped living in the van. Jolly good… who knows maybe I may even pump up the tyres and go for a ride on it? That will take some poking in the right direction…but not yet me thinks.
Hmmm might go watch a DVD – I deserve it after today's efforts.
